Youth Partner Contortion with Regina & Nicole

Turn your solo skills into partner skills with Nicole and Regina from The Flying Femmes! This workshop is an exciting opportunity for our younger students.

About Nicole:

Nicole Maisey has been a full time circus artist for over 5 years, she has completed four tours across New Zealand with Circus Aotearoa, Cirque Lemuria and Kids Day Out Variety show. She will be in Christchurch premiering her newest show “The Flying Femmes” and is making time for some workshops along the way.

About Regina:

Regina is a neuroscientist-turned-circus artist, performer, and teacher, specialising in contortion and handbalance. She is trained in a variety of circus disciplines and styles and spent years perfecting her craft with help from master coaches around the world. Regina’s own circus experience, as well as her formal education and independent learning in anatomy, physiology, and flexibility, have made her the well-rounded and passionate educator she is today. Regina believes that we can always learn more and loves exploring the connection between the body and mind to help people access new ways of moving and reach their training goals.

Price: 

$60 per student

Prerequisites:

Must be comfortable holding a bridge and able to control into and out of contortion skills.

Experience in partner skills is useful but not required.
